Mr. Amzad Hussain is the dynamic young entrepreneur, who was born in Dhaka at an aristocratic Muslim family. He is the son of the veteran business icon Muhammed Akram Hussain, Former President, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agents and others.

Mr. Amzad Hussain has been elected as the Director of the FBCCI in very young age and also Director in charge of FBCCI Standing Committee on Capital Market & Bond. He has been awarded as a Commercially Important Person (CIP) by Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh. 

He obtained his MBA degree from North South University and currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree from Institute of Business Administration (IBA). He has entrepreneurial experience of working in various sectors like marketing, education, tourism, human resources export, international trade and agricultural sector.

Mr. Amzad has attended more than 50 international conferences, seminars and symposiums as speaker, panelist or facilitator. He is a passionate golfer and likes to travel. He has been to 50 countries and is well known as a business leader. The family legacy and his own inherent qualities give him a great sense of value direction.

Apart from being an Independent Director of Purabi General Insurance Company Limited (PGICL) he is also the Managing Director of Janata Agro Fisheries Livestock Dairy and Food Industries Limited, Janata Travels Limited and Chairman of Valiant Tech Limited.

Mr. Amzad is the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Board of Purabi General Insurance Company Limited.
